Rep. Diana Harshbarger, representing Tennessee’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets highlighting significant achievements in various sectors. Harshbarger, who has served since 2021, took to social media to discuss the progress made under the administration she supports.
On April 29, 2025, Rep. Harshbarger tweeted about border security improvements, stating “100 DAYS OF SECURING OUR BORDER Illegal border crossings are down 95% Catch-and-release is down 99% Over 100,000 criminal illegal aliens have been deported America is becoming SAFE AGAIN! A whole new meaning to promises made, promises kept.”
Later on the same day, Harshbarger commented on investments in the American economy. She tweeted that “100 DAYS OF INVESTING IN AMERICA $7 TRILLION in investments into our economy, bringing jobs and manufacturing back to our shores Since President Trump took office, 345,000 jobs have been created Egg prices are DOWN 56% Gas prices are DOWN 6.3% PROMISES MADE,” highlighting economic growth and reduced prices under the current administration.
Additionally, Rep. Harshbarger posted about energy policy changes. In her tweet, she mentioned “100 DAYS OF UNLEASHING AMERICAN ENERGY Ended the natural gas export ban — making America the largest net exporter of natural gas in the world Expanded access to drill, baby, drill, bolstering energy production Reversed Biden’s anti-energy offshore drilling ban AMERICAN.”
Rep. Harshbarger was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, in 1960 and remains a Kingsport resident. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University.
