On June 21, 2025, Rep. Harshbarger expressed her belief that “upholding the Constitution and defending limited government should be a staple for all members of Congress.” She also announced receiving “The Institute for Legislative Analysis’ Defender of Limited Government Award this year.”
Later that day, she commented on a legislative initiative stating that “House Republicans are honoring President Trump’s promise to put seniors first by lowering their tax burden,” highlighting the benefits of what she calls “The One Big Beautiful Bill.” She emphasized its impact on America’s seniors by “protecting their care, and ensuring they can afford essentials like medication, housing, and food.”
