Rep. Diana Harshbarger, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 1st district, has recently shared her views on various political matters through a series of tweets. Born in Kingsport, Tennessee in 1960, Harshbarger succeeded Phil Roe in 2021 and holds a BS from East Tennessee State University.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Harshbarger expressed support for former President Trump’s economic plan: “President Trump has a plan to get our nation’s economy back on track.”

The following day, March 6, she addressed the actions of Al Green during the President’s joint address: “I’m getting ready to vote to censure Al Green for his ridiculous display of disrespect during the President’s joint address. It will be one of the easiest votes I’ve taken as a member of Congress.”

Later that day, she mentioned her meeting with Secretary of Veterans Affairs: “It was great seeing @SecVetAffairs this morning to discuss the needs of our veterans and how we can best serve them!”
