Rep. Diana Harshbarger, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 1st district, recently shared a series of tweets expressing her views on national economic and security policies. Harshbarger, who succeeded Phil Roe in 2021, has been vocal about her support for certain political stances and leaders.
On January 21, 2025, Rep. Harshbarger tweeted a succinct message aimed at promoting economic prosperity: “Make America Wealthy Again!”.
The following day, on January 22, 2025, she addressed border security issues by stating that “Border security is national security. President Trump’s sending the National Guard to the southern border on day one sends the message loud and clear to illegal aliens that the days of open borders are gone.”
Later that same day, she posted another tweet reflecting satisfaction with fulfilled commitments: “It’s about dang time. Promises made, promises kept!”
