On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Morristown East High School standout Kennedy Payne’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Campbell Fighting Lady Camels.

The game took place at Amanda Littlejohn Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Lady Camels this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at PC Softball Complex against Presbyterian Blue Hose.
