On Saturday, February 10, former Newport High School standout, Me’Kell Burries’ current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 84-64 in their NCAA D2 game against the Mars Hill Mountain Lions.
The game took place in Harrogate, Tennessee. This was the second matchup against the Mars Hill Mountain Lions this season.
The Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Wise, Virginia.
