The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team is projected to finish sixth in the South Atlantic Conference, while Jordan Maney was named Third Team All-Conference, the league office announced on Tuesday with its preseason poll.
The Lady Railsplitters tallied 79 points in the poll, finishing behind Carson-Newman (139), Wingate (136), Anderson (116), Catawba (113) and Limestone (93). The Eagles received seven first place votes while the Bulldogs had six as the top two favorites to win the conference.
Additionally, redshirt senior Jordan Maney was voted to the All-Conference Third Team. The forward from Atlanta, Ga., averaged 12.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in a breakout 2020-21 campaign before sitting out last season.
