We held a Patron of the Arts Society dinner May 10 in Cumberland Gap. Guests were invited to learn more about LMU’s community offerings of art, music, theater, literature, and more. Dr. Marty Sellers, dean of the Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences talked about LMU’s rich history of artistic offerings and the importance of studying art. Guests also heard from the humanities faculty and staff including Assistant Professor of Theater Joe Gill, Associate Professor of Art Michael Giles, Arts in the Gap Coordinator Grace Mahieu, Mountain Heritage Literary Festival Director Patrick Wensink, and Assistant Professor of Music Ben Bruflat.
