Freshman Madison Ferguson has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Bowler of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Ferguson, a Vandalia, Ill., native, averaged 206.80 points across five games in the season-opening Colonial Lanes Classic over the weekend in Harahan, La. The average was the sixth-best among individuals competing in the tournament and led the Railsplitters to a ninth-place finish as a team.
This is Lincoln Memorial's first conference honor of the season. The team is set to travel to Illinois for the Bearcat Roto Grip Open beginning on Friday in Fairview Heights.
