Harry Cooke has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-America Second Team, the D2CCA announced Wednesday.
The freshman from Market Drayton, England was the only first year player voted to any of the three All-America teams. This adds another accolade for the forward after a rookie season that saw him named the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.
Cooke led the SAC in total goals (15), goals per game (0.94), total points (31), points per game (1.94) and game-winning goals (four) for the Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year honors to wrap up a dynamic debut season.
The rookie led the Railsplitters to a 10-8-1 record and appearance in the SAC Tournament title game, making for an eight-win improvement from 2021 in head coach Dale Parker's first season leading the team.
