Rep. Diana Harshbarger, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 1st District since 2021, recently shared several updates and opinions through her social media posts. Born in Kingsport, Tennessee in 1960, Harshbarger continues to engage with her constituents through various initiatives.

On November 21, 2024, Rep. Harshbarger invited constituents from East Tennessee's 1st District to join her for a series of 'Coffee with your Congresswoman' events. She expressed the importance of hearing from constituents about their priorities and concerns. The upcoming event is scheduled for December 2nd at the Hawkins County American Legion from 2:00-4:00 PM. "I always value the opportunity to hear from constituents about their priorities and concerns."

The following day, on November 22, Rep. Harshbarger announced internship opportunities available through her office for recent high school or college graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in government and constituent services.
