Diana Harshbarger invites constituents to 'Coffee with your Congresswoman' events

Rep. Diana Harshbarger, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 1st District since 2021, recently shared several updates and opinions through her social media posts. Born in Kingsport, Tennessee in 1960, Harshbarger continues to engage with her constituents through various initiatives.

On November 21, 2024, Rep. Harshbarger invited constituents from East Tennessee's 1st District to join her for a series of 'Coffee with your Congresswoman' events. She expressed the importance of hearing from constituents about their priorities and concerns. The upcoming event is scheduled for December 2nd at the Hawkins County American Legion from 2:00-4:00 PM. "I always value the opportunity to hear from constituents about their priorities and concerns."

The following day, on November 22, Rep. Harshbarger announced internship opportunities available through her office for recent high school or college graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in government and constituent services. She encouraged prospective interns to apply via her website."East Tennessee Graduates, My office is looking for interns to join our office."

In another post on November 22, Rep. Harshbarger commented on a case involving Laken Riley’s family receiving justice for their daughter's death while criticizing MSNBC's portrayal of the situation."Laken Riley’s family gets justice for their daughter's death and MSNBC paints the killer as the victim."
