Diana Harshbarger, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Tennessee’s 1st district since 2021, shared her views on recent political events through a series of tweets. Harshbarger, who succeeded Phil Roe in Congress and holds a BS from East Tennessee State University, has been vocal about her stances.

On March 5, 2025, Harshbarger expressed her disappointment regarding the lack of support from Democrats during an unspecified event the previous night. She stated: "Not a single Democrat could be bothered to stand for this last night. We won’t forget."

Later that day, she reaffirmed her alignment with the Freedom Caucus by stating: "Proud to stand with my @FreedomCaucus members here."

In another tweet posted on March 5, Harshbarger highlighted her perspective on gender in sports following President Trump's address. She wrote: "Common sense is back, including keeping men out of women’s sports! Read my op-ed in response to President Trump’s historic joint address last night."
