On April 14, 2025, Harshbarger issued a tweet, including a sentiment reflective of her views on national security, stating, "REMINDER: This is who Democrats want in our country." She expressed gratitude towards former President Trump and his assertive leadership, indicating her belief that under his guidance, "America will be safe again!"
